Responsible Gambling
Online casinos should be a form of entertainment, never a way to make money or escape problems. We only list casinos for players aged 18 and over, and we want everyone who uses this site to stay in control of their play.

Keep Gambling Fun
- Set a budget before you start and treat it as the cost of entertainment.
- Decide how long you will play and take regular breaks.
- Never chase losses by raising your stakes to win money back.
- Do not gamble when you are stressed, upset or under the influence of alcohol.
- Keep gambling money separate from money for bills and essentials.
Warning Signs to Look Out For
Gambling can become a problem gradually. It may be time to stop and seek help if you recognise any of the following in yourself or someone close to you.
- Spending more money or time than you planned, again and again.
- Borrowing money or selling things to gamble.
- Hiding your gambling from family or friends.
- Feeling anxious or irritable when you are not gambling.
- Gambling getting in the way of work, study or relationships.
Tools Licensed Casinos Offer
Casinos licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority must give players tools to manage their play. You can usually find them under the account or responsible gaming section of the casino.
| Tool | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Deposit Limits | Caps how much you can deposit per day, week or month |
| Loss and Wager Limits | Caps how much you can lose or bet in a set period |
| Session Reminders | Shows how long you have been playing |
| Time Out | Blocks your account for a short break, such as a day or a week |
| Self Exclusion | Closes your account for months or longer |
Limits that lower your spending normally apply at once, while requests to raise a limit come with a cooling off period.
Where to Get Help in Malta
If gambling is causing you harm, you do not have to deal with it alone. The national gambling helpline 1777, run by the Responsible Gaming Foundation, offers free and confidential support. More information is available at rgf.org.mt.
Outside Malta, organisations such as Gamblers Anonymous run support groups in many countries.
Protecting Minors
Gambling is only for adults. If children use your devices, keep casino logins private and consider parental control software that blocks gambling sites.
